An early morning to fit in 3 dives before noon on the last day. More fantastic reef locations. The big boat was great to dive from. One of the reasons for selecting this charter, was that other operations are permanently moored on the reef at one location, and then they take you out on day trips to various reefs. We, on the other hand were free to roam about, and had the nice big boat with facilities right at each dive site.

We headed back (another 3hr tour) from the GBR to Cairns, and all met up at a local pub on the waterfront for dinner, drinking and more stories. What a great group of travelers from around the world, from Brazil, to Europe. Will miss these fun folks.

When we landed, we decided to get a room back at the Mantra Trilogy in Cairns, rather than head driving up north along the coast in usual frenzied travel mode. Got an even better apartment with unbeatable views across the bay and mountains, just what we needed to unwind from the dive trip.
