Fasching in Mattighofen.. crazy times. The streets were full of people, from really young to extremely old... letting loose for one last time before Ash Wednesday.

I spent time hiking around the hills near Mattighofen and eating Burhan's Kebap. It is a tasty sandwich with spicy turkey meat and a yogurt sauce.. all Selbstgemacht = homemade.

Preparing mentally for a return to the US... after Andreas, V, and Licul took me to Zauchensee skiing.

The alps are the most rugged mountains I have seen to date. They are imposing.. and, had the snow gods been a bit more friendly, we coulda gotten quite lost up there.

But, it was groomer runs all day. Bummer my ski legs, cardio, and other systems are so outta shape.

Guess beer drinking around the globe doesn't help.
