Norm took me to Chester today which was a lovely old town about 15mins south of where they are in Wirrel.

We successfully found me a nice, warm, colourful coat, (I look like little red riding hood - you can't miss me now) and a pair of Jeans that fit wonderfully and were only ten pound.  Norm and I were both really impressed.

We went through Chester and Chester Cathedral (1153), if you can believe a building can be that old.  It was magnificent, the stain glass windows would have taken years to make.

For lunch we ducked into a little Italian resturant and had lovely, hot pizza.  The weather conviently decided to rain during lunch but had fined up again by the time we left to explore more of Chester.

It's a walled city (or was), so we climbed the stairs and walked around the wall and down to the river and then back through the park and into the town itself again.

We got back in time to pick up Imogen and Oscar from school and play with them for a little while at Norm and Bobs.

After that a quiet night at home at the Sharps was very enjoyable, again with great lasagne.  As Derek said half of Wirrel was having leftover lasagne that night.
