17.24 – The guys who came on the Kiwi bus yesterday left this morning leaving two people behind. There is a Dutch lad called Guido who is really camp and probably a fag but good fun, then there is an English lass called Flo who has become a bit of a hippy after going to India! Guido is a dancer so that might explain his campness! So in the morning we all slept in late due to our late night talking. I was then going to Kayak to the store but in the end I decided to get on the bus because I was feeling lazy but then I walked back. It wasn’t as far as I thought and it didn’t take me long. The rest of my morning I spent reading and writing. My book is coming on ok although it’s quite hard. After all this I finally got into the kayak and just went around all the rocks in the bay. Later on, I decided to sort out my rucksack and sew on another of my patches. We spent the evening not doing very much really except for waiting for Guido to show us some of his dancing. I have to admit, he is quite good! Most of the time though, we just spent talking and watching the rugby on TV.
