We arrived in Vienna on a Monday morning and since we did not have to be on the boat till 6 p.m. took advantage of the free afternoon by walking around the city and of course eating a pastry! W
The next morning I went on a guided city tour of Vienna and the highlight was visiting the lovely St. Stephen's Cathedral. That afternoon I went on the tour of Schronbrunn Palace (the palace of the Hapsburg Dynasty) which was marvelous. You should definitely see the palace. The rest of the time my cousin and I spent at the Christmas markets and walking the city. Too short a visit with so many interesting buildings.
