Vienna

Today the weather does not look too fabulous as we head into town for our city tour. Most sights we have already seen only but we learned a few more information from the tour guide.

Palace and Gardens of Schönbrunn

After the tour is over with, we split from the group and head through to town to grab a quick bite from Nordee which is a seafood chain through Vienna.

We meet up with Jennifer before heading back by tram to Schönbrunn Palace.

The sun is out which works to our favor as we enter the palace. The garden area is free and closes at 9.30pm.

The gardens and the water fountains and the landscape of the palace stretch out as far as the eye can see. We head up to the highest point to view the gardens from the top deck.

There is plenty visitors strolling through the parks with some reading their books by the park bench. Its quite amazing and elaborate.

The garden comes complete with a zoo and a labyrinth and a maze.

We spend a few good hours before headed back to the hotel which was a nice 30 min walk.

We get few hours rest before it was time to get ready and head out for the dinner at the Viennese woods. We arrive at the destination and  Earl leads us the restaurant  all decked and a man playing the orchidian

We are seated and enjoy a massive dinner which comprised off chicken and pork and sourcrap. potatoes and vegetables as we enjoyed the music. he played Aussie songs which made a few of us happy.

The wine starts flowing as it is unlimited wine and so everyone stuck into it meaning very noisy people dancing and singing.

Earl announces our departure as everyone starts to get their last sips of wine and then stumble back to the coach.

The coach ride back is a nice and noisy one. It was a fantastic night.
