We went hiking in NH and Vt. Broke in hiking boots, got used to new back packs, and made sure all clothes were comfortable.
Had a great climb, and gained confidence in our abilities. One day in December we hiked the Blue Hills. Wind chill was in the teens! Tested "layering" our clothes- in preparation for our Glacier Hike. It was amazing - we were not cold at all!
To further our training, down in Florida we hiked 9 miles on several occasions, and we have been working out with all our gear! Alison carrying about 15 lbs, Norman close to 25. I think we are ready!!!
