Hanauma Bay

The last four days were just spent relaxing in the Hawaiian sun!!  As touristy as Honolulu is it was sure nice to swim in bathtub temperature water and have some quality beach time!!  We spent a day snorkeling at the famous Hanauma Bay.  We took a tour of Pearl harbor and visited the USS Arizona memorial. This ship is still lying at the bottom of the harbor as is a tomb for the 1177 men that lost their lives that day aboard the ship. After that we headed over to the USS Missouri which was America's last battleship which was decommissioned after Desert Storm.  It also houses the site on the main deck where Japan surrendered to the Allied forces to end the Second World War.

Overall the trip was fantastic, we had a great time.  I look forward to going back to Australia to see more of this huge country - I feel like I have only scratched the tip of the iceberg there.  As nice as traveling is - it is always nice to come home...........ah........my bed awaits me!!
