Today we were up early to check out the city. Right next door to the hotel was a small park exhibiting Greco-Roman ruins found in the area. We walked to the port to take some silly pictures and look at big boats. We had the best soup ever at a restaurant overlooking the Black Sea. The rain forced us to move inside from the patio where we finished our wine. When the rain let up, we made a run for our hotel. Along the way we were caught in a downpour. We stepped inside the doorway of an apartment building and watched the local taxi drivers jump from their parked cars and do the same. Rather than pay for another night in Constanta, we got some dinner to go and took the night train back to Bucharest.
