Skiing Vacation in Lenk (Switzerland)

This January we rented an appartment in the Swiss Alps together with my parents, my brother, my sister in law and our little niece of 1 1/2 years old. We had a really great week in the snow, skiing, bobsleighing and hiking. The sun was shining all week long.

Although there are no tv's in the appartments (you can rent one if you want), we never got bored in the evening. We spent the evenings in the indoor pool or in the sauna or just talking in the living room of our appartment.

Although the appartments are about 20 minutes walking outside the village of Lenk, you can get to the slopes easily. There is a free skibus leaving every hour from the parkinglot above the reception. You can choose between two different skiareas: Betelberg a relativly small area with lots of easy slopes for the beginners and Metsch, the big skiarea connected to the one of Adelboden with slopes of all difficulties.
