Once we got our accommodation settled in Budva we quickly headed out on a minibus to Cetinje, the ancient royal seat of Montenegro.  The road to Cetinje was stunning, rising steadily above Budva and through the mountains of Montenegro (which translates to Black Hills).

Cetinje has about 15,000 people, although it didn't seem like that many.  As a matter of fact, Cetinje was beyond quiet when we were there.  We walked from the bus station into the "downtown," which was a couple of dusty, if not quaint, streets.  I suppose it was a Sunday, so I'll give it a pass.

The only thing we saw was a church which held the tombs of the former King and Queen of Montenegro.  We heard there were several outstanding museums in Cetinje, but none were open.  I did buy a few cool Montenegro t-shirts and patches from the souvenir stands near the church.  However, that was about the extent of our stay.

Rather unimpressed with Cetinje, our visit lasted roughly one hour.  I think I took six total pictures.  Not exactly a waste of time, but pretty close.
