10am At The Caravan place to get a quote to fix the awning.  But while there we had a look at new vans and talked with the salesman on the new fittings coming out.

This afternoon we both rested, I sorted some photos ready to make a presentation for U3A and Helen slept. Then I had a sleep and Helen played solitaire. Tonight the park had a sausage sizzle and a camp fire. There would have been at least 60 people sitting around the camp fires. All the money raised will go to the Royal Flying Doctor Service. It was $1 each per sausage & onion in 1 slice of bread. We had 2 each plus we bought $3 of raffle tickets & I won Ist prize. It is a double decker wooden bowl (made by someone in the park) with a bunch of plastic grapes plus 2 bags of Nobbys nuts, choc eclairs & Clinkers. Not really my kind of thing but I will donate it on again probably for the Cockscomb Xmas party, filled with Christmas treats. We also visited the Bundaberg Vietnam Veterans Association Drop in Centre. Great setup, with a huge meeting room, Pension Officer's rooms, Bar, BBQ area, smokers area, off street parking and M & F toilets. A group membership of about 80 with a hundred or so associate. The wives group is called The Tinkerbells as their men are off with the fairies. I met about 8 of the wives & they meet there 2 days a week Thursday & Tuesday. 9 - 12.30.
