Chilling out on top of Submarine Rock

Sedona is a beautiful place - surrounded by red rock formations and fanatastic summery weather. Think we bit off more than we could chew with the amount of walking we decide to do. First make a trip out to Submarine Rock then straight afterwards do a four-mile hike around the airport (which is built on a red rock mesa and is supposed to be an energy vortex site). Exhausted and hot, we drive to Flagstaff and check into a motel on Route 66 which has a gorgeous, relaxing jacuzzi.
