After 5 days of real hectic travel, we stood in the sun for most of the day with the tememrature soaring over 110 and we still enjoyed it!! Thats the magic of universal studios. Scenes from Universal movies brought alive in this fun for everyone area.
It included everything, tour of actual sets and some special effect expereinces, shows based on some of the most famous movies and those 4 D theatres. And ofcourse the virtual reality 'Back to the Future' car. On a weekend visitors spend about 80% of the time waiting, but on a weekday we managed to maximize on return.

It started with the see and feel experience in the Terminator movie based show, the Back to the Future car and the Waterworld show. We didint get splashed at the waterworld show, but I wouldnt have minded too much in the heat, the show itself was great. Then there was the spiderman show, the Shrek 4D and some display of pyroeffects.
The ride of the day was the tour through some real life locations and a inside view of some of the special effects. We saw the "Jaws" shark and a old birdge break down. We saw a 40 foot king kong and a San Fransisco subway station crumble in an earchquake and a flash flood.

The killer of the day was the acicdental roller coaster ride. Four people who prefered their feet firmly on the ground sat on the Jurrasic Park ride just bcause we though it wasn't much of a roller coaster, and we were wrong. Good memories though, I still remember the shiver I felt when the car began to climb, what goes up, must come down.
And to top it all, there were movie charectors to get pictures taken with.
After a great day we spent the evening in Hollywood boulevard, walking in the footsteps of the stars. I wanted to see the Kodak theatre, but we had missed the last tour. But then you win some you lose some. Inspite of all the heat and hte trafic, LA had been a good choice.
