Rain, rain, go away...

I visited Heredia one rainy day, (it rains a lot during the wet season, literally rivers of water flood the streets!) which is about ten minutes south of San Joaquin by bus. It’s more of a hustle-and-bustle city then where I was staying, with lots of shops, people, and sodas. The general feel was great, much like an urban city. In almost all the Costa Rican cities I visited I found a church, football (soccer) field, and a school all on the same block. The three most valued things to Ticos! The bus dropped us, (a few friends from the school: Che, Gabe, and Michelle) off at a church in the city central, and we walked around for a bit just checking things out. In Heredia there are a variety of people, from well dressed business types, to local teenagers looking for something fun to do. It was difficult manuvering through all the unbrellas on super narrow sidewalks, while crossing streets with no traffic signals.Yet just more charm to already charming country.

One rainy day...
