Amsterdam was a very interesting experience. We used this city to establish our lifestyle as backpackers while staying at the flying pig hostel in the city centre. We explored all the city had to offer...but don`t worry mom and dad, there were some museums involved. We went to the Riks museum, the Van Gough museum, Vondel Park, `The Bulldog`, and wondered around the streets looking for clothes that definitely would not fit into our backpacks.
Hallie liked Amsterdam so much that she was considering a job in the redlight district just so she could stay longer but realised it was only a dream that would never come true.
We met some fun people at the Hostel, drank coffe in the cafes along the canals and relaxed in preparation for Oktoberfest.
