Green Tortoise

Letter to my fellow Green Tortoise compadres:

I am writing this email from Liverpool, England!!  I've just spent the past week in London and Wales, and for NYE I'm off to Edinburgh.  Last week, I got to meet up with John for a brief hour in a pub in London, and I may or may not see Cassa as she is galavanting around Newcastle-Upon-Tyne as we speak.     I've been reflecting on the past year and I have realized that if it weren't for the Green Tortoise Baja trip, I wouldn't have had the crazy travel adventures I have had this past year.  Without the GT, I wouldn't have met up with John in London and gone to Morocco, and if I hadn't met up with John I wouldn't have gone to Paris, which means I wouldn't be in the UK with Dai, my new Welsh friend I met in Paris.  Without the GT, I wouldn't have had the immense pleasure of hanging out with the one and only Cassa in the fine dive bars of Pacifica and in the creepy Owl Tree bar in SF.  Without the GT, I wouldn't have met any of you, and though we haven't been able to see each other since then, I know my life has been made richer just by knowing you.
