Dominica

It took a day an a half to sail from Barbados to here, Portsmoth, Dominica.  We arrived in the night and anchored off the coast.  In the morning we docked and most of the people went off into the jungle for boat trips and swimming under waterfalls.  I thought I would just take it easy and walk around the town a bit.  This town is much poorer than where we were in Barbados. 

At night there was a party right off the dock, which seemed to be just for us.  Right above the docking area there is also a fort a small climb away.  In our party glee we decided to hike up to it and annouce to all of the poeple of the town that we were there.  I guess they didn´t hear us... but the people on watch at the boat did.  :)
