From Hervey Bay I head south to Byron Bay. Where I learned to surf. The surfing was really cool. Brian and I went for three days. The best part about Byron Bay is that we've actually met and hung out with actual Australians. We got to know our surf instructor so well he invited us over for a BBQ. All in all Byron has been the best stop.
Byron also has a trapeze rig. We hit that up so Brian could make some connections as well as practice a bit. I pulled off a plonge catch for the first time and almost nailed the return. Saddly there are no picutures.
Next stop Sydney . . .
