Lucerne - Day 2

Early start today and we have a few things on today.  Those going on the Lake Lucerne cruise left the hotel at 8am. We were not participating in this therefore were able to sleep in today. We meet later on with the other travelers finishing their cruise and then off we went for a 45 min to the country town called Engelberg to Mt Titlis.

It is extremely busy day with everyone all over as we all get into groups to get on the first aerial car . The scenery was breathtaking. Green grass, trees, cows, goats, wonderful cottage looking homes.

We take a second aerial car, which revolves, before we make it up to the top where we are on the highest point and there are plenty of people enjoying the snow

It is windy and cold.

While we get free time up there much of it was spending it outside on the snow and the rest was trying not get run over by those that barged there way trough the crowd. There are levels. The bar, the restaurant, the top section where you can go out onto the snow. Soon it was time to leave as we headed back to the hotel. The bus does a drop off at the city and we go on a souvenir-shopping mission. Lyn and I revisit the lion monument.

We do some shopping and there are plenty of bargains and I could not help myself and bought a couple of garments knowing I already had no room in my luggage.

Soon it was time to head back to our hotel for our included dinner at the hotel with the group. It is alwayspleasant after a long day out, to meet up with everyone in the group to have a nice chat.

Dinner was great, and after dinner Pom and I headed down to the bar downstairs from our hotel.

It was a nice bar but and nice staff.

It was a good recommendation as it when we arrive, we see the magnificent view of the city. We enjoyed a couple drinks there before it was time to head back to the hotel.
