A Trip to Paddy's Market

This has been a fun week. I went and got a massage at the Hands On Clinic so I could experience it first hand before starting to volunteer there. I went did lots of walking and spent time in the park. On Wednesday I was fitted for new compression sleeves and gloves and was shocked at how expensive they are but they are a better quality than the ones I've had in the past and should last a lot longer. Thursday Pam picked me up and we picked up one of her online heart buddies, Irene, who is from Holland but living in Brisbane now. We headed up to the Northern Beaches, having lunch overlooking a harbour. We went all the way up to Palm Beach and the entrance to the Hawkesbury River. What terrific views we had. We stopped on the way back for coffee and then dropped Irene off and headed back home. It was a great day. Friday, I dropped in on my friend Gordon and enjoyed a visit, then headed for the Library to do a little research on birds of Australia. In the afternoon Robert and I went to Paddy's Market to get some fresh veggies and fruits and the pictures are below. I have new software so I've added some collages of pictures. Today, Saturday was housecleaning day and of course some time in the park. I eat breakfast on the roof most mornings and enjoy it a lot. One of the magpies as started to eat my bread so I've bought some meat to feed him. They are renovating on of the flats upstairs and so the noise starts every morning at 8:30. They are tearing out a wall so it is noisy. To say the least I've stayed away from the building as much as possible. I also joined Easts Rugby League Club in Bondi Junction and start water areobics there on Monday with Pam. Should be fun. Well mates that is all for now.
