What an amazing day!!!!! We spent 9 hours exploring Disney California Adventure Park and then Disneyland. First stop was the California Screamin’ rollercoaster. Mandy dismounted with hardly any voice from screaming…. But what fun. Jorgia and Madeleine went back for a second ride. We then went to a river rafting ride and consequently spent the next four hours drying off. One of the highlights of the Adventure Park was the Soaring over California ride. It was an Imax theatre, but you were also strapped into seats that moved and were high above the ground. It took you flying over all the sights of California.

Then on to Disneyland. Since we have two days still left at Disneyland, we did some of the tamer rides only and then watched the parade of Disney characters and the absolutely amazing fireworks show.

We also enjoyed getting up close and personal with Minnie Mouse and hope to meet more characters tomorrow and Thursday.
