Biking in Tuscany

It is as romantic and gorgeous as it sounds! Tuscany is beautiful. Rolling hills, vineyards and olive trees everywhere. We began in Siena and rode through Chianti country to San Gimignano. Yesterday we rode into Volterra which I am pretty sure translates to 'KILL TERA.' I have never climbed anything so steep in my life. No wonder this was one of the last Roman conquests. We are taking an unplanned rest day in Volterra to repair all the muscle tissue damage :-)
