9 a.m. we are at the Chocolat Company which was closed when we arrived yesterday. You can taste some kinds of chocolats and see how it is made. Not very spectacular to us.
After that we go for the Candy Cow (Australia's greatest sweet shop & candy store). Here you can find out how the candy is made. Great for kids, because you get to taste a lot of sweets. We decide to buy some wonderful fudge we tasted. It was to early to visit a winery so we skipped that (no sweet wine for me so no tasting hahahaha).
Of to Augusta with the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse. When you walk down behind the lighthouse there is a sign that says the Southern ocean meets the Indian ocean here. Very impressive.
We also visit Lake Cave. A cave you enter by a staircase near an old Karri tree. Inside the cave there is big lake that reflects the formations. It is al presented with a nice lightshow.
We know when we are almost near the Karri Valley resort, because the road leads you through a karri forrest. The resort is situated around a lake. We check in and get a map of the surroundings and with the things to do. We leave our suitcases in the hotelroom and go for a walk around the lake. You have a tree with a large hole, a hanging bridge. After that we have diner (buffet with a lot of lovely things).
