So, I have been in London for exactly two weeks now. I have had a fantastic time. London is quite similar to Melbourne in many ways so I feel quite at home here. The city is actually more spread out than I thought it would be, it is generally quite a hike getting from one place to the next & there is sooo much to see. I have barely even touched the surface in my time here, I have tasted a lot of beers though :)
It is extremely expensive for Aussies over here, the conversion is painful. We have to times the pound by two & a half, which hurts the bank account big time. I am off to the Lake District tommorrow, in Northern England. I am looking forward to getting back to nature & have heard wonderful things about the area I am heading to.
