We got into St. Louis just in time to see the Cardinals beat out the rival Cubs.  An enthusiastic crowd and a grand slam made it pretty exciting.  We spent a day checking out the other sights including the Missouri History Museum, the Anheuser Busch Brewery tour, and the City Museum, but not including the arch.  And what is the City Museum, you ask?  Well, it’s basically a warehouse that was converted to a gigantic playground (one that is equally cool for adults and kids).  The components of the creations are mostly recycled materials…conveyor belt rollers, old airplanes, architectural embellishments from old buildings, etc, but also a giant ball pit and ancient pinball machines.  It’s easily the craziest place we’ve ever been and it’s impossible to do it justice in words.
