Pisa - Italy

We leave Eze and head onwards to our next stop. Pisa. Here where the infamous leaning tower of Pisa stands.

We arrive in the town of Pisa. I love the house and the Tuscany look of this town. Italy has this way of making you feel so wonderful just by being there. It’s a feeling of comfort and you can’t help be mesmerized.

The leaning tower of Pisa

When we arrive in Pisa, we notice the amount of tourist that flock in.

We arrive and Earl has arranged a little train that will drive us from the coach parking to the actually location for 2 euro each. The train picks us up and within 5mins we are there.

Earl leads us through the crowds and through the many set up souvenir stalls to where the tower is situated.

It is quite amazing and the amount of people also there is amazing. Earl gives us free time as Lyn and I try our best to get the very predictable pushing the tower over picture. It was humorous to see everyone else in silly poses trying to get that one good picture of the leaning tower.

We failed miserably and decided it was taking way to much time to get that picture and alternatively decided to stop and get a normal one of us standing in front of the tower.

We head through the tight walkways as the souvenir shops are set up so close to each other it leaves you little room in between. We decide to stop for a hot dog for lunch.

Walking back to meet up with the group we are approached by those trying to sell all sorts of things such as necklaces, and bracelets. The advice given to us by Earl is to keep your heads down and show no interest otherwise if you look remotely interesting, they will come flock to you by the dozen.

The train to bring us back to the coach is waiting as we all board. Earl does a head check and noticed there is 2 missing. So we wait. Soon enough we see them running over frantically 15 mins pass the meeting time.

We all are now in complete so the train returns and drops us at the door of coach. Talk about service.
