Cabo San Lucas has beautiful pristine beaches, and resorts that are like little oasis for tourist. There is a market next to the marina to trap all the unsuspecting cruise riders with cheap trinkets, shirts that boast "I've been to Cabo!" and a ton of inexpensive silver jewelery. There are plenty of tourist shops to find a souvenir, and if you don't feel like shopping, you can let the shopping come to you! Venders walk along the beach trying to sell thier wears, and will even stop to talk to you while you are at a restaurant if you pick the wrong side of town to dine. If the bustle and constant gimmicks make you want to pull your hair, don't worry, there are a ton of public beaches and establishments where venders aren't allowed.

Las Cabos has excellent deep-sea fishing for the sporty type! You can catch anything from 300lb marline, to fighting tuna, to the very light and tasty dorado. For an all inclusive fee, the boat crew will do everything from hook your bait (for the squeamish) to help you fight the "Big One" if you get tired. Whenever a fish is caught, a flag (size, shape and color depending on what type of fish you caught and how many) is raised on the boat when the proud crew pulls into the marina. The crew works very hard to find you a fish because their reputation depends on it.

For a small fee, a water taxi will drop you off at the beach, but be careful not to stay too long because there is no way back to the mainland on foot! There are also plenty of glass-bottom boat tours for the people who hate getting wet, and snorkeling for the ones that love it! The snorkeling conditions are perfect, and the fish are like living rainbows.

Slightly outside of town there is a glass-blowing factory, where you can buy beautiful sculptures, or pay a US dollar to try blowing something yourself!
