Saturday morning we got up and headed to Beerwah to see the famous Australia Zoo. Still do not know if Steve Irwin was actually burried there but he is sure plastered all over the zoo.

The whole zoo is geared towards wildlife preservation not just Australian animals but endangered species from all over the world.

The main feature of the zoo is definitely crocodiles there is a lot of them there.

The zoo is setup very nicely with alot of hands on and educational sessions.

There was quite a commotion when one of the elephants we were feeding got annoyed by a turkey that was running around and started misbehaving. All three elephants were promptly turned around and had a severe talking too. What happens when you get mad at an animal? Yes there was a major flood, and when one has to go......every body does.

Pity the people theat were first in line to feed them again after they swished their trunks through the puddle!

We had a really nice day, got to pet snakes and koalas and feed kangaroos and elephants.
