Where are all the guests?

We then spent a couple of days chilled out on the beach at Playa Ancon.  The beach itself was really pretty and the hotel wasn´t bad although probably not quite up to caribbean standards.  It seemed we were two of only a very small handful of guests and the rest of them all seemed to leave the bar very early at night.  We had a bet each night as to how early we would be the last ones at the bar.  It may have had something to do with the hotels exceptionally cheesy nightly entertainment which was so bad it was almost funny.
