About the Dolphin Scuba Team

The Dolphin Scuba Team has been operating in Kalkan since 1993. We were the first dive centre to open in the village and since then the number of our clients increased steadily every year.

Most of our customers leave as friends: Our friendly and professional staff does everything to make your stay on the boat enjoyable and memorable. Our international dive guides and Instructors are qualified to the highest diving standards, trained in first aid and English speaking.

Whether experienced divers or complete novices – we can cater for all your specific needs.

Non divers are always welcome on board. Families and friends not whishing to dive will have an enjoyable day out relaxing on the sundeck or swimming and snorkelling in the crystal clear warm water.

We serve a freshly cooked lunch on the boat; drinks may be purchased all day.

We are member of the PADI Family as a certified PADI Dive Resort.

As well as a member of the DAN Insurance.

To the experienced diver

We view diving as a fun, relaxing and spiritually fulfilling adventure. Therefore we have no time limit on the dives and we travel very slowly underwater, wanting you to see and experience as much as possible. You are free to dive with one of us, having us show you creatures and behaviours we know well off a-ways in our own world. You will not hear us banging on our tanks underwater, see us hearding people around or chassing and harrasing marine life. We’re here to accompany you on an adventure that we hope will become one of your cherished diving memories.

We typically do two-tank boat dives and the diver ( and the weather ) determine exactly where we will dive on any given day. When we have people who have been diving with us before, of course we try to make sure they see different places. Wer cater to photographers –in that we have photography experience ourselves and know what subjects photographers are likelt to want. Because we travel slowly underwtare, they have time to spend with the animals instead of trying to keep up with a group covering as much terrain as possible.

It is the most comfortable boat in the whole area. The boat was purpose built for us and is designed for 48 passengers. It features 80 tanks ( two for each diver ), large sundeck, shaded rest areas, fresh water shower, plenty of space for your dry stuff

( & wet stuff ), plenty of space for each diver, inside cabin, two toilets, fresh water tank, dive platform on sea level, 6 m tender boat.

All the other equipment is stored on the boat as well – no carrying stuff in the hot sun

Safety & Insurance

Turkish law dictates that all dive operators comply with the turkish Underwater federation regulations which include the provision of a TSSF qualified Underwater guide on all diving activitiy. All diving instructors are qualified to the highest standards with either PADI, CMAS or BSAC and hold Turkish Underwater Federation licenses. All diving staff are medically trained and boats carry a full medical First Aid Kit including Oxygen Therapy Unit. Divers’ safety is the top priority, all divers and passengers are fully insured.
