HI Bill & Jill, NY is really something different! People watching and subway riding are great ways to experience it. A visit to MOMA is really well worth it - you will have a lot of opportunity to save money in their gift shop! Seriously, hard to get out of there without a heap of the most interesting and creative gizmos. Ive got 2 of them right here at my desk that I use every day. So useful stuff there as well as the fascinating but pointless variety. Bill, you MUST go to the Apple shop (up near central Park - I forget which Ave) Bring home an e-phone and get it unlocked her in Melbourne - it can be done now but I was talked out of it on last visit.Since the $ being what it is and since the latest version has ben released at about half the original price it is a way of saving HEAPS of $s. Hi Bill They are called the Rockies(!) & they are a great place to visit next time you go back there. Try the top of the Empire State building at night time - fantastic! And watch out for the midnight cowboys around Times Square. If you have time do the ferry tour around the Island - it gives you a good perspective to the place. Peter
