Sunday, another amazing breakfast and then off in the car to Mallow with a vague notion to try and find some of Dianas' childhood haunts. After 28 years we expected that just about all the small lanes, farmhouses and cottages would have dissapeared or been redeveloped. Indeed the barman the night before had warned us that Mallow had changed dramatically and that she might not recognize much at all. To cut a long and quite emotional story short,  not only did we manage to find the old house that Diana lived in but with the help of some wonderfully friendly people, we eventually found a long lost Aunt and two cousins who were so amazed to see her that we spent the whole of the afternoon and evening with them.
