From Terry and I are leaving Brockport on December 29 and heading for sunny Florida to catch our ship, th in Raleigh, United States on Dec 29 '07
This morning Terry and I visited Winterthur, the DuPont mansion, outside of Wilmington, Delaware. This time I initiated the trip! It was the Yuletide tour and we were able to see various Xmas traditions from Germany and Early America. I love the early traditions of hanging cookies in the table top trees and windows!
This delayed our start to my nephew and niece's home in Raleigh. Naturally, traffic was heavy around Washington, DC and it was raining. We drove off of 95 on route 1 for awhile, but that was slow also, so we returned to 95. We arrived later than we expected, the girls were already in bed and asleep, but baby Ben was up and ready to be held!
We had a pleasant chat with Matt and Michelle catching up on family events, past and present. Michelle is savvy with the computer, so she helped me with the computer, although Pat Groves had instructed me a short while ago... slow learner here!
