My mom and I drove to my grandmother's house in Milford, CT so that I could begin my journey to NYC. Their house is close to the train station where I could hop a commuter train to the city. So we drove a few hours from our home in RI to begin the trip. I left Monday morning bright and early to catch the train to Grand Central Station. Mom and Grandma saw me off at the station. Armed with a suitcase and my bass trombone, I was ready to tackle the world! Haha.
