We started our day with a nice breakfast buffet at our hotel. It has a good variety with both standard American breakfast items such as sausage, cereal, etc to Thai foods such as porridge, pad thai.

After the nice breakfast, we thought we are ready to explore Thailand but turned out we were heading back to the Bangkok airport where we just arrived late last night. This gave us a valuable lesson on how to pick a guided tour. We joined a 7-day guided tour from a Los Angeles-based, chinese-operated tourist agency. We thought everyone in our tour is from the same agency and with the same itinerary. How naive we were! To save money, the Thai tour guide actually groups together people from different agencies with different itineraries. That morning we went with the tour guide to take two people from previous tour to airport and picked up few more people who supposed to be in our tour.

After spending around two hours in the airport, we were finally heading to Pattaya which is about two-hour bus ride from Bangkok.
