This morning our evil wake up call came at 6:30am, I was not a happy camper although after throwing my gear in my bag and hoping I hadn’t forgotten anything, I went and enjoyed my well deserved buffet breakfast – ahhh I love croissants and scrambled eggs and of course coffee!

We headed out with our group on a Canal cruise which was really good, we went past most the major attractions including Anne Frank’s house, the 7 bridges and the leaning buildings on the streets – I had to wake Nat up a few times, I didn’t want her to miss the full experience of Amsterdam, heehee!! We had a quick tour of the diamond factory, I wanted to steal some because obviously I couldn’t afford them – and Nat didn’t want to buy me one!

We then went for a quick look around the centre of town, had some really yummy noodles and a sneak peak at the sex museum - that was an experience!!

We then waived goodbye to Amsterdam, after having a pic with the smallest car I’ve ever seen and were on our way to Cologne in Germany……… it felt like forever but at least I got some sleeping done on the bus (I also wanted to yell at the little kid that thought it was fun to flick the foot rest over and over again).

We got to Cologne, had our buffet dinner and went for a quick trip into town, which was a bit of a mission – it was cold and raining and bed was calling but hey, no time for sleeping or tour! We checked out the Koln Cathedral and had some awesome hazelnut ice-cream from a cute little ice cream shop, ah now I was happy!
