Phuket- Phi Phi Islands Day 37
Got picked up 30mins early! A 1st for the Thais to be ahead of time, they are normally very late! Anyways we boarded the ferry to Phi Phi don which is the main Island in Koh Phi Phi. It onyl took 1 1/2 hrs and was pleasant journey. When we got off the boat it was like stepping into Paradise! Beautiful white sandy beaches lined with palm trees and gorgeoes turquioise blue water. i knew i was gonna love it here ;o) Managaed to get a reasonably priced room on the island. What i love about the place is that there are no vechiles! Brillaint. We had a Bob Marley guy come with a big trolley and take us and our bags to the guest house. We dumped our bags, grabbed some breakkie and headed for the nearest beach. OMG it was stunning! Totally white talcum powder sand ,clear blue sea and huge limestone rocks. We plonked ourselves down and baked in the sun all day. I felt bad closing my eyes to sunbath as i was shutting out the stunning scenery. There are lots of Tsunami warnign signs and where to go if one happens around. Lots of lookout towers have poppped up too. Hopefully it wont ever happen again. The beach where we were lyign on had been hit reallly badly as there were only a few palm trees and no shops or bars. Seeing as it was Shrove Tuesday we had the excuse to go and indulge in pancakes. I obviously had nutella and banana-yum yum though the Thai pancakes are slightly different from our.

Day 2 Phi Phi Leh
Well i must say that today has been the best day of our trip so far. There were 8 of us on the tour around Phi Phi Leh. 2 canadian guys and a Swedish family. We had a good laugh with them all. We were in another longtailed biat for the day. We stopped off to snorkel 1st. Lots of yellow and black fish, pretty cool. We then went to Bamboo island for lunch on the beach. Wow it was amazing , more sandy white beaches and crystal clear water. Can it get any better?! Next we visited Monkey Island, yes you guessed it lots of ,monekys runnign around and cheeky ones at that. they grabbed at anythign they could get their hands on. One wee devil stole a can of Fanta from a tourist and guzzled it down!

Finally we went to the famous Maya Bay, reknown from the film "The Beach". It is gorgeous too, but not as big as it looks on the tv. We swam around in the lovely blue waters and took it all in.
We went past the Viking Caves which the local use to get special eggs to make sopu with, It's very dangerous getting them so them soup is only for the rich!
We though that our tour had eneded after the caves but we were in for one last treat and a traet it was! We went to Phi Leh Lagoon. OMG it is the most beautiful place i have ever been to, It even beats Barbados and Fiji. The 8 of us all agreed it was perfect paradise, even better that there were only us there! I could have stayed there all day in the coral white sand and crystal clear turquoise water surrounded by huge limestone rocks- unbelievable!! You all must go, i will definitely be back! The perfect end to a superb day ;o) 10/10
