We actually went to a good few places in Ireland but I'm putting them under Dublin and Cork. We went to Castlewellan again to see my Aunt Maureen and went for lovely walks. Including climbing Slieve Donard completely hungover. Professional mountaineers us! We enjoyed once again Maureen's amazing cooking and hospitality and chilling out with the family and the attentions of Sandy the lovely dog.
On the way back to Dublin we called in Newgrange, once of the best tourist attractions in Ireland in my humble opinion. It's a neolithic passage tomb. That's about 5,000 years old. I'd been years ago on a school trip but Cathal had never been. Then we called in at my Uncle Tom's where I lived for my first year at University, we all went out to lunch and then finally onwards to stay at my mate Emma's for another alcohol fuelled night, however she did cook delicious food to help with the soakage.
That's about 5,000 years old (no not how long we've been together, sometimes it does feel like it though!)

Having met up with friends in Dublin and Cathal's Aunts we finally headed off again. Not before changing our trip again at Dublin airport. We had finally decided we would come back early. I had three friends getting married in September, and we'd miss their big days, so we decided to cut the trip short. We now return in mid September.
