Day 38 - Once Bitten, Twice Shy

As you can probably imagine we slept in this morning, well till about midday anyway, fairly late for us. We were a bit peckish so raided our limited food stores we'd bought with us and ate vita-weats with cheese and marmite, yummy.

We strolled to the beach as the weather was bright blue skies and sunshine, but after our horrific sand experience yesterday we thought we'd be clever and relax in the picnic grassed area overlooking the beach......until saz jumped up resembling the lady that got fired out the cannonball.... bex wasn't exactly sure what had happened so in a bit of a panic said in a slightly higher pitch than should be spoken by humans "whats up?"

Turns out some little thing, creature, insect type had bitten her on the chin, cheeky little bugger that it was and her chin was really stinging. We debated what to do and decided we would wander for half an hour and if it didn't get any better we would pop into the chemist before it closed.

It seemed to ease off so we got a bite to eat and decided we would just put antihistemine cream on it when we got back. We went to this place called "The Hogs Breath Cafe" ....cant think of anything more repulsive to name a cafe but whatever, there wasn't much choice. It was ok we just got chicken wraps and curly fries.. and a cocktail to ease sarah's pain!!!

After we had showered we went to sit and socialise with the usual crowd outside but it started to pour down so we moved inside to play ring of fire with becky's brand new pepsi cards from the easter show, no one really got the rules but it was quite a good laugh and then this really really drunk english lad spilt red wine all over the cards, which kind of killed the game and the motivation so as people slowly started leaving we joined them and hit our room to get some sleep for our big adventure tommorrow.....
