Today, we caught a ride on a fast catamaran to Tinos Island where we then got on a ferry to Andros Island. We arrived at about 4 PM where we then got a bus from the port town of Gavrio to the capital, Hora. There were not many accomadation options here (especially budget ones). We ended up chatting with the bus driver who let us leave our packs at the bus station, then later allowed us to sleep at their place.
The next morning, we explored the town in its' entirety (not that that took long). Andros is quite green and fertile looking compared to the other islands we've been to, as well as being very small in terms of population. We had a good look at the Venetian fortress with its' stone bridge, although we didn't cross it like we saw someone else do). We then spent some time at the Archeological Museum, which was pretty interesting. At about 2:45 PM, we caught a bus back to Gavrio where we waited for our ferry back to Tinos.
