Bled is a beautiful little town in Slovenia very famous for its island in the middle of a freshwater lake. It is the ONLY island that Slovenia has despite the fact that Slovenia enjoys about 20kms of Adriatic coastline.
Bled is quite famous for its international Business Management School as well as one of the residences that Marshal Tito enjoyed during the communist years. The island on Lake Bled has 99 steps. A local tradition at weddings is for the husband to carry his new bride up these steps, during which the bride must remain silent... hmm.. would like to see that!
