The Hurtigruten organisation was very slick and efficient. We were transferred by bus from the hotel to the Hurtigruten terminal where our luggage was checked in - airport style and we were directed through the people check and on to the boat. Our only niggle was that we then had to queue for nearly an hour on a two deck staircase to register and collect our cabin keys.  We felt that this could have been handled much more comfortably in the spacious terminal before we boarded. A minor complaint though and soon forgotten when we had time to relax and unwind in our cabin and then explore the glorious ship.

Before we knew it  the Nordnorge had slipped her mourings and we were off on the world's most beautiful voyage.
