Kickin in Carribean Style

Hey everyone,  After 24 hours of travel, we finally arrived at our Hotel, hot, sweaty, and very stinky.  The last 5 hours was on a day bus where, for a full hour we stopped and waited, engine off, without explanation, nor air conditioning.  I guess some people were shovelling gravel or something.

The first day, we walked into the town of Puerto Viejo to check things out, and walked back on this cool trail through the woods next to the beach.  Yesterday, we took a cab down to Manzanilla, where the road ends.  We swam in the Carribean, and had some great food at Restaurant Maxi´s.  I hate to say, it might have been thte only good food so far. . . We are going back there in about an hour to take a hike through the jungle.  Hopefully, we will see some cool wildlife.  Yesterday, on the bus, Damian randomly saw a monkey swinging from some vines.

2 more days!  Then back to work for a couple months!  I guess we´ll keep it short and sweet!
