My dear friend and professor Ustaz Farouk was getting ready to leave
for Chicago in the next couple of days and invited me over for dinner
and to enjoy 'the best view of the Nile in Cairo' as he put it.
It was indeed, a breathtaking view. The pictures turned out a bit
dark, but ma'alesh -- you had to be there anyway to appreciate
it! We had wonderful conversation and great pizza. I wish
him a wonderful and productive year at UofC.
