Caught an early bus to Hopkins, really couldn't wait to be out of Dangriga and see what else Belize has to offer (it's got to better than Dangriga).  Hitched from the main road into Hopkins and as soon as I got out the back of the pickup the people were just so much more friendly than elsewhere.  Someone recommended staying at La Beha Drumming Centre, and it is a nice place and the owners are really friendly.  Got my own room (which was brand new as they're just finishing building 3 rooms) for 25 Belize dollars.

Hired a bike from La Beha and cycled off to Sittee River and the surrounding area.  It really is a nice place and cycling alongside the river is really cool.  Quite a few places to just stop and chill, read a book or listen to some music.  Not much in Sittee River, it's more a scattering of a few houses than a village.  Still nice though.

Chilled out in La Beha that evening and listened to some drumming, had a drumming lesson too.  I wasn't that great.  Won't be starting a new career!

Just spent the 1 night there as I didn't really fancy just chilling out and wanted to get moving.  Would recommend this place though.
