Travelling from one Western European country into another was a breeze as no immigration stamp was needed. I crossed the Europa bridge over the Brenner Pass into Italy from Austria. Along the way, I could see snow on landscape.
No trip in Italy is complete without a stopover in Venice, the historical jewel of Italy. Apart from being one of the best-preserved cities in Europe, Venice is a combination of sheer magic and mystery.
A Place for the Romantics!

Travelling to Venice during summer is the best if you were afraid of cold. But at the same time, this is the busy period and accomodation can be difficult.
One of thing you could do is to hire a gondola, with a gondolier in tow. Take a short trip anywhere along the waterways and you would remember this experience.
Visit the St Mark's Square and it is a good place for taking pictures. The view is fantastic! You also get to see shops selling exquisite Venetian glasses and varieties of Italian face masks.
