Glad to be here
From Hakuna Matata in Дар ес Салам, Tanzania on Feb 22 '07
(Ronnie's story) It was an excellent idea to fly from Pemba to Dar Es Salaam especially after Lonely Planet had described the border crossing by land and water as very challenging. After spending 6 weeks in Mozambique, Dar Es Salaam seemed wonderful. The fantastic people of Mozambique helped to make up for the fact that traveling there for an extended period was very difficult. The poor infrastructure made traveling through the country a real challenge and we had to eat chicken and fries EVERY day!
In Dar, we did not have to struggle to communicate, there was diversity in the cuisine (good Chinese food and Subways), excellent, fully WORKING internet and a fully stocked pharmacy. T After the luxury of two full days of cable TV and internet, we were ready to jump on the slow ferry to Zanzibar.
chicken and fries everyday
