Bangalore ~ The Garden City
From India - My Homeland! in Bangalore, India on Jul 31 '00
Bangalore was once the garden coty of india and now its the Indian silicon valley, i moved to bangalore to start the next phase of my life - college life here. It's changed a lot in the four years i was here. from no congestion on the roads to miles and miles of gridlocked roads but despite the flaws it's probably got the best weather/climate. it's never too hot (maybe a fortnight or a month around march) and never too cold, abt 15-18 deg celcius is as low it gets during the day.
Pubs aplenty, beer chugging poy bellied software engineers can be found anywhere... as abundant as the software engineers is the college crowd - overall a very young and lively city.
I loved my four years here - truly awesome!
places to see
- Nandi hills
- bagalore palace
- MG Road, Brigade Rd etc for window shopping, Infantry Rd to find huge bargains and non-labelled garments.
