Pre-Cruise Party

This morning Liz & Derek picked us up at 7 AM and drove us to BWI. Should have flown into Palm Beach instead of Ft. Lauderdale
e as we had to wait more than 1 hour for our luggage. This was our second bad experience with this airport. We were met by a Silversea
Siversea rep who escorted us to a limo for our transfer to The Boca Raton Resort and Club. We joined Joanne and Don West for a lovely
reception and dinner hosted by Siverseas for the 145 passengers signed up for the 126 day world cruise. The affair was attended
ed by Siverseas officials including Isabella Rossellini-Ingrid Bergman's daughter who is Ambassadore cruise line
Extraordinaire of the cruise line and Lynn Sher the noted award winning US televison news reporter who will be the first
guest lecturer. It was quite an affair and it is obvious that Silverseas wants to make their first world cruise very special.
They just announced plans for their second one in 2008.
